Product Description

Agnes sailing into the sunset (Automata)

120cm x 32cm x 15cm

Agnes sailing into the sunset is an automata, turn the handle and the boat rocks back and forth on the sea.

Mounted on a reclaimed piece of transom that Ben worked on years ago. It is made of English elm a rare timber today.

The wire drawing of the Pilot Cutter, Agnes, appears to be sailing into the sunset made by the holes of the transom. The paint on the right appears to become waves crashing on the right side of the piece. Cracks in the paint work above the boat become birds in your imagination.

Signed B. Baker by the artist in wire complete the piece.
